Resize NTFS partition

Is there a free tool that will allow me to reduce the size of my NTFS partition?

How is your system configured and what OS are you running? Partition Magic is good but not free, about $39 I think. depending on how its configured you may be able to just use the Disk Administrator utility that comes with NT based windows OS'

I don't think it can make a partition smaller, though. You need Partition Magic for that.

Depending on how the partition(s) setup you can backup your data to another partition or drive and then delete the partition and recreate it with a different size. It is possible but just depends on the users configuration.
