Have sound effect run through the PowerPoint presentation

Hi,

Is there a way to have a sound effect run throughout the presentation either using the PowerPoint itself and if this cannot be done using VB.NET. ?

This is native nn Powerpoint
Insert Menu - Movies and Sounds - Sounds from file

Ive tried that but it only plays on the slide you inserted the file. What I need is to have it running throughout the whole presentation wihtout stopping.

Do I need code as well cos I never codied in PowerPoint.

any ideas about that please?
