    Resolved [RESOLVED] Negative Rep question

    hi all,

    just read that when someone gives a negative rep, then the half of his/her rep is subtracted from the poor chap's rep.

    well, i was one of the poor chap and somebody deduced 3 points from mine

    and eligibilty criteria is 20+ posts and 10+ rep. or am i wrong? does that 5 default rep points are enough to make a person eligible to award rep points?

    if 20+ and 10+ are the actual crietria then 10/2 is 5, so how can someone give less than 5 negative rep points?
