    Books on Enterprise Framework/Application Blocks

    Hi,
can anyone recommend any books on using the Enterprise Framework/Application Blocks - particularly (but not so critically) using VB.NET.
Also, are there any out for .NET 2 and VS.NET 2005?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

anything by microsoft on MCSD training is the best option, and probably the only one that would be suitably in depth to suit a congloberation of needs and requirements.

If youre looking for something specific such as commerce, intranet development, Windows development and such, again microsoft publications are yor best bet, but check out the sybex website

    www.sybex.com

    mcgraw hill/osborne books on programming,

    www.mcgrawhill.com

(dont quote me on thsi site address)

HOWEVER. There are superb articles on framework architecture on the MSDN

    http://msdn.microsoft.com

and there was one a few months ago on building an enterprise class framework system in .NET wich was superb and as indepth as you get.

I do have an old copy of the Visual Basic MCSD/MCSE New riders training guide on PDF format if you want it, it might come in use and there are probably peices of info you can use on research and development, however it is written in VB6.0 so its a little old, but still relevant nonetheless.

PM me for all who wants this BTW..

Thanks - but I'm referring to the specific "Enterprise Application Blocks" which have been produced for enhancing development with the .NET framework. But I cannot find any books.

I don't think there are any other than the documentation that comes with them. Because the code is continuously being refined, by the time the book was written, it would be out of date.
