They are usually blcoked for a reason, which type of sites are you looking to gain access too ?

Online games
Something that is blocked so students wont spend hours on it, but I just want access for 1 minute

That "One minute" will turn in to many more!

The rules are there for a reason, I'm afraid it would not be appropriate for us to help you get around them.

I have to say i agree with Si on this one, we had games blcoked until we found ways round them, trust me, 1 minute turns into 1 hour... then development time gets wasted within the less committed.

Yep, I have the same thing in work but I don't really complain that much as I'd spend all my time browsing the net...instead I browse VBF

Besides, I'm not aware of a way around a proxy anyway

Use a proxy. Do a search for anonymous surfing.

If you have your own server or one you could use that has php, you can get something called "phpproxy", google it.
