I have posted 3 different threads in the past two days, and I don't even have people looking at my post? The only way I can get anyone to look is if I go back after my thread moves half way down the list and post replies to my own question asking for people to look! Then I get one person to look, and my thread moves half way down the list again. What good is it to ask a question(whick I didn't think was that hard, by the way) if its NEVER looked at, let alone answered?

try better subjects that make people want to come in, like this one drew me in :)

You can make a dummy post and then delete the post. This
will prevent your new thread from having millions of dummys.

It will also bring it to the top.

facts of life are, no one here is obligated to look at or respond to any thread , when i post i appreciate a response not expect it
Or at least that's what i say in public, in private i moon the monitor and make voodoo dolls of Megatron :)

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...Voodoo dolls...now THERE'S an idea.

Mooning the monitor will get you in trouble around here.
Too many nurses.

thanx for the warning on the nurses, that could get painful...

It can be frustrating when no one even looks at your thread though

I never read or answer threads that don't have punctuation in the title.

Good = No response, fine, but not even any views!
Bad = change color of listview subitems

By naming your thread "change color of listview subitems", the reader doesn't know if is a question, or a statement. No punctuation usually means someone who doesn't write very well anyway, which usually means that the post will be incoherent at best.

Just FYI...

Very often I will find my own answers to my questions doing a search here.

How many times are the same questions asked and answered??? Especially about compilers and the P&DW.

There ae some great minds here with superior skills. Maybe there should be a bit more of self-responsibility in finding your answers rahter than the Fast Food approach to posting and expecting service within minutes!

Let's make the Search Features more visible somehow prior to posting the more basic questions. The complex code shtuff will no doubt always recieve more attention...

Just a thought...
