Windows XP Icons

I need some good looking icons, something similar to windows xp icons. I also need windows xp toolbar icons. If anyone has a link, let me know.

You should take a look there. I looked through over 100 responses and they either suck or they want money for the icons. So before you post links to my threads please research thoroughly. I notice that your a moderator but it gives you no right to be sarcastic. What programmer doesnt know about google? So keep the useless posting to a minimum.

I wouldnt be so aggrivated or mean if your post actually had a purpose. It's sole point was to hummiliate me.

That is great and all. But I kinda need a package of icons. I need about 40 windows xp icons, and about 40 windows toolbar icons. The actual xp icons, not remakes. You know?

well you said similar.. you didnt say the exact ones you know

if you have XP then you can find all the icons there, but I also think MS has some copyright about you using their icons in applications

anyways, arent the icons hid in .dll's? I used to know which ones.

well which icons specifically are you looking for? you say toolbar.. do you mean cut/paste etc..??? i dont recall those ever being "xp" looking...

I assume you are looking for the nice alpha blended icons, but if you can tell me which ones you are looking for i can try to point you in the right direction

Forward, Back, Print, Browse, Exit, Font, Help, Undo, Copy, Cut, Zoom's, Save, Delete, Report. Mostly Icons like that.

I remember there being a petition on MSDN several months ago, asking for a new set of 32-bit icons. Many signed it and Microsoft said it would be included with Visual Studio 2005. Perhaps it's already downloadable on MSDN, you could take a look.
