    Pinging remote workstation?

    any one have any idea on how to ping the computer in the remote areas that is connected to the server?

    the scenario is I need to know if the remote computer has lost its connection to the server or not.


    Any idea,suggestions or link are welcome

    It doesn't matter where the machine is located. If it is on the network, you can ping it by it's IP address.
