********** says I need a DLL that doesn't exist on my comp
When I run ********** on my project it tells me I need these DLLs:
vba5.dll
mso9.dll
Can anyone tell me what these are or why ********** thinks I need them? They are not listed under References and I don't have them anywhere on my computer (I searched).
I tried making the install file without them and the person who tested it got 4 different errors when trying to run the program.

Are you using VB6? Do you have SP6? What control uses VBA5?

eyeRmonkey,
What version of ********** are you running? And can you upload your vbp and exe for that vbp file? zipped of course. And how did you determine that those files are not on your computer?

Re: ********** says I need a DLL that doesn't exist on my comp
Dglienna, yes I have SP6 and VB6. No control uses VBA5 that I know of. It is not listed under components or references.
Randem, I can't upload them right now but I will try to later tonight. Do you just want ONLY the .vbp and .exe? I hope don't plan on running the .exe because I can't get it to work even with the install file (it depends on a lot of DLLs and OCXs), but if you just going scan it or something then go ahead. Do you want the install .exe as well?
I dertermined that they weren't on my computer by doing a windows search for them (not including the extension) and nothing came up.
I recently noticed that I had 2 extra references in my project about data reports and 1 other thing that I didn't need and I removed those, but I havn't had a chance to run ********** since and that MIGHT fix it, but I'm not sure.
PS - I don't know what version of ********** I have because I am not at home. I got it in June though, has there been an update since then?

eyeRmonkey,
Just those two files (vbp and exe for the vbp) not the installation file. Still you never answered what version of ********** you are running. The lastest is 5.0 Build 1.

I edited my post to say that I don't know what version I am running but I DLed the most recent version in June. Has there been a new release since then?
PS - Why is ********** now a 15 day trial?

eyeRmonkey,
Yes, there has been many releases since then. ********** is now not free due to lack of donation support.

Aw! Thats horrible news Randem. I'm sorry to hear that, but wow. I will keep the old version because I can't be paying for stuff. I have version 4.0.6. Does that help?
Thanks for your help.

What's the VBF rate? Especially for suggesting it to at least 500 people!

eyeRmonkey,
Yeah, Have you run Version 5.0 Build 1. You may see that the files may be absent. Check it out.
dglienna,
VBF rate? It the same amount they donated. LOL.

But it costs money. What good is a 15 day trial to me?

eyeRmonkey,
If you don't see the differences in the output and it doesn't help you, then I guess it's no good.

I havn't downloaded it, but I am only 17 and just have not way of paying for it even if I wanted to. It is an AWESOME product and would help me a ton, its just the money part. My parents are paranoid about paying for stuff online. Sorry.

I saw it was only 10 dollars, so I might use someone elses credit card to get it. It is worth 10 dollars I guess. It is an awesome program after all.
Wait. In one spot it says it is 10 bucks and in another it says it is 20. Which one is it?
