Of course it is, why do you think they have a Games and Graphics Programming forum on here!

yes, but it all depends what kind of games you want to make.

if you want to make earth-shattering blow-em-ups like Quake 2 then learn C++ instead of Vb 'cos it cant handle it!

if you want to make thingies like tic-tac-toe, and solitair, then yeah, its easy. it is possible to do 3D things, but you really have to know your stuff!

the closest that ive ever done to a game is my version of Logo, the old coordinate drawing program, which is very good if you want a copy!!! (blatant advert) :)

Anything is possible.. :)

And yes, Wossman is correct in saying that you can do it, but it would mean a LOT of programming on your part. You can do a whole Quake game in VB. But why? He is right, C++ would be easier to write in for those type of games. Otherwise, if you got time on your hands to spare, do it in VB. you might find it interesting. There is all kinds of posts about Making a game in VB. Try the search at the top and you'll see what I am talking about.. :)

Hey, Knight_Vision, it's not Wossman, it's Wossname. Just FYI, because I know I hate it when people screw up my name.
