    Urgent -- MSDE -- (Resolved)

    Hi

    I have an MSDE Database, that the PC was renamed on, the database could not be accessed as it said that the SQL Server installation was corrupted, please re-install.
    I should have done nothing and waited for the PC to be renamed, but .....
    I reinstalled a new instance of MSDE, I took a copy of the MDF and LDF files,
    my question is, can I rename them and simply copy them onto another machine with a working copy of MSDE ?
