lucky bugger, test ridden a CBR 900 a couple of weeks ago and was very close to buying it, but then realised that no insurer would touch me unless I paid about the same as the bike. almost stacked it as well

tell me about it. I was thinking of getting a ThunderCat.
The bike cost about 20 quid more than the bike!!
What a joke.

Are we biking coders, or coding bikers ;-?
Neither. You're riding pansy. To be a biker ya gotta ride a hog...
Harley or Indian. Yamaha just can't hack it.

furry muff ;-)
i only passed my bike test last week, so this is my first bike. Also, to buy a harley in london costs upward of 15k, and the insurance will be incredible (~10k)
it'll do me for the mo, and it's a great laugh.
Have fun, stay out of Philly, don't piss of the Few

My neighbor works and builds harleys for a living... he is building on one right now and he is going too get 10,000$ for it!..and that isnt much compared too the ones you can buy direct from harley-davidson.
Have any of you been driving on the freeway and see a group of bikers haul ass by you?It looks kewl;) almost makes me want too fork over the cash too get one (if i had enough of cash though ;) )
Here in the states there is at least a 1 year waitng period if you buy one direct from harley-davidson!! AT LEAST!! haha

You must be joking........Harlies are ridden by yuppie wannabes and are totally over rated. Even our local bikies are dumping the things for jap bikes.

Guys,
i spent most of the day yesterday riding. Oh man. They are such a crack! I advise everyone to get one. Great laugh.
Bummer is tho, that i can't open her up for six hundred miles (have to run the engine in).
Don't know how i'm going to last today at work. I might just laugh it off and ride off somewhere.
haven't seen a Yuppie yet running a Hog.....note that
anything under 900 is a piglet and that REAL men run 1250
Besides, yuppies don't have the balls to run colors.

Yeah you always have to baby it for a while.....
The current toy of choice for Sydney Yuppies is a harley. Guess they have moe balls in this part of the world:)
If the damn things are >= 1250 CC they do. Anything less
than that is for wusses.....or Aussies
