    Resolved [RESOLVED] OLEAUT32.dll error related

    hi people!

    a few days ago i wrote about an error when executing a program accessing files in folders, you suggested me to build the installation program.

    now that i've done that... i tried to install the program in a laptop eith win98 SE (i run VB in XP) the installation setup program said that a file had to be updated prior to install the program so i clicked "OK" and then i got a message telling me that the PC would restart...

    after that, i executed the installation program and i got the next message (translated):

    "Cannot initiallize the file OLEAUT32.dll. Verify the file to determine the problem"

    In Spanish: "No se puede iniciar el archivo OLEAUT32.dll Compruebe el archivo para determinar el problema"


    Any of you can tell me what could the problem be?

    Important Notes:
    - The PC with Win98 SE has NOTHING in the HD. I just reinstalled the system.
    - I use DAO in the program
