Transforming from db to MySql

I would like to build an application using VB 6 and This application should transforming from dbase log file (form in db) to database relasional using MySql. Please can anyone help me how to build this application, because i'm new in using VB 6, is there someone who has the same problem or ever build this kind of application ?

I can help with the mySQL side of things - but I've never used dBase :(.

What sort of things will you need mySQL to do?
