When you install the MSDN disk you will see the option for Full Install...that puts it on the hard drive.

Only thing is, it takes up a huge amount of space on your hard drive. But it's worth it, if you don't want to keep entering CD 1-2-3 .

These days with 20GB Hardrives, MSDN is not a lot of space (as a opposed to a 2GB)

Hehe Megatron. Someone like you would probably have a 20+ GB. I have a 6 GB hd. Although MSDN Libary took up 2 GB, I still have plenty of space. How much space could one person use? Well, forget I asked that . I still have 3.70+ GB left, so it's all good.

When you say these days, you sound like...These days, kids get things handed to them on a silver plate. Back in my day..., hehe .

Actually you will find that if you select the full install option from the setup program, you will still be asked to insert a disk from time to time, depending on how obscure the function you are looking up.

The way to avoid this is by actually copying the entire 3 cds to a folder on your harddrive. Once you have done that, run an install from the folder you copied the files to, and select minimal installation.

This way instead of asking for a CD, it just looks in the folder. This means that you can have the whole of MSDN across more than one OS on the computer as well, because you just do a minimal install under each OS.
Iain, thats with an i by the way!
