This is just to say a very, very big thank you to the people on these forums who have helped me out enormously over the last year or so.
Special mention must go to RobDog who's help has been invaluable.
I'm actually a PhD student in the UK and have been developing a number of spreadsheets to help with my research. These have often turned out to be quite large and complicated beasts and not being a programmer (I'm actually an environmental scientist/engineer) I have struggled at various points to get Excel to do what I want it to do (especially with regards to VBA). However I have managed to struggle through and the spreadsheet development aspect of my work is close to completion and so I can finally get on with writing up my research results.
The advice I've received from this forum has helped me a lot. Collectively you have all saved me hours of hair-pulling and banging my head against a wall.
