    Could it be Memory?

    OK, I'm wondering if this sounds like a memory problem.

    I play alot of counter-strike. So I have been trying to connect to a game but right before I get into the game it will crash. My computer is not old at all and is brand new.

    Now why I don't think its a memory problem is because I can run the more memory intense World of Warcraft without a problem.

    Does this sound like more of a problem with the Game, Counter-Strike, or with my memory?

    Is it being blocked by Windows Firewall? Go in and check for Exceptions. You may want to allow (by checking the box) anything related to the game.

    Reinstall CS and see if that helps.
