    Registry clean/repair

    Can anybody recommend a decent freeware Registry cleaner/repair program?
    Will be used on WinXp.

    Download Registry Mechanic over at www.regedit.com

    Registry Mechanic is only free for a limited time, but it is without a doubt the best Registry Editor I have used. I tried several of the completely free editors a while ago and did not like them. I also ran into a few problems with them deleting keys that were actually needed. No probs with Registry Mechanic.
