I've been developing in VB.NET and VBA for about a year now, and i would like to move into C#. I have Visual Basic .NET Standard already installed on my development system, but where do i get the download to add C# to my Visual Studio family, or where can i buy the software? i can't seem to find the hard software anywhere, but it seems i can download it free off the MSDN site. which one do i download?

You could order a copy of VS2005 Beta, which gives you all 4 languages in one go (VB.Net, C#, J#, C++.net) and a bunch of other stuf for free but, you might as well wait a few months for the retail version to come out.
