Not quite a firewall..

Hey all i have a question.

I have developed a firewall and it werks good.

But i can only make it guard ports that arent already open

like say i want to have my firewall guard port "3344"
Since none of my other apps are using it..i can monitor it with my firewall.

But i can not do anything too ports that are already open
is there a way in visual basic that i can close the port that has been open by another application?

Zonealarm does this...or at least it says it does.
