Offset desktop after bootup
Right after my comp finishes booting up i have to use the h position/size and v position/size buttons to center my desktop. I don't know why the image is always offset. Is there anyway i can fix this? Maybe go into the bois? Thanks.

Does it change if you reboot and leave the monitor on?

Re: Offset desktop after bootup
Oh I just hate that Ever since I changed to Windows XP my systems always show the desktop or logon background offset.
I have a flat panel monitor and when I use the OSD positioning to reset it, it takes almost 5 seconds to restore.
I am also running a Linksys 4 station KVM. How about you Denger4 are you running a KVM maybe?

Umm, no. I have a Keyboard, Video, Mouse Linksys switchbox that I have all my systems connected to so I only need one monitor,
keyboard, and mouse to use them all with.

Re: Offset desktop after bootup
Someone told me that mine may be related to a firmware issue in the KVM but I havent had time to upgrade it.

Re: Offset desktop after bootup
Monitor screen settings are stored in the monitor, not the computer and I think they go by the loaded screen resolution/frequency as to what settings they load. Hence why if you format the screen never changes the settings.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
