    Resolved [RESOLVED] Urgent - Uinstall a copy of xp

    Ok I have a friend, who somehow amnaged to installl xp twice lol, and i need to remove the older version. How do i go about this?

    Its set so that when he boots up he is given the option

    Windows Xp Home
    Windows Xp Home

    (The second one is th eoldest)

    How cna i remove this? I'm desperate for ideas here.

    Where are they both installed?

    That won't remove the installation, only the choice upon startup.

    Yeah, but you'd have to do that as well as changing the file.

    yea i've done that now, thanks. i adjusted the boo.ini and then deleted wthe /windows/ fodle rof the old install
