I'm using IE. When I want to view the source code of any site, it never works. Even when I go to my own web site, I can't view the source code from within IE when I go to View, Source. What is causing this and how do I fix it? Thanks for any help.

What do you mean? What do you get? A blank page or some thing? Or what?

Have you done the latest Windows Updates?
Does it not work for this site?
Some sites have code written to prevent the right-click popup View Source from working but the menus View Source should always work.

It quit working for me a few months ago. My solution was to get Firefox.

Do I really need to say it? I'm sure everyone knows what I'm going to say

Oh well here it is!

The correct abbreviation is Fx as it is Firefox and not FireFox

Did I mention that you can install the DOM Parser with FX

It's a lot better than trying to parse source html, almost everytime.
I haven't had any problems with Fx, and have been running it for more than a few months. I really have gotten used to it. In fact, I just installed the new version 1.0.5 last night. I use IE for Windows Update. :)

To answer the question. Clear your Temporary Internet Files cache

If they cant decide on an abbreviation for FF then how do you think the code must look like?

If Canders solution doesn't work
Check Notepad has not been deleted.
Your TMP/TEMP environment variables point to folders that exist.

None of those conditions existed before when I was having the problem.
Maybe the security settings could have caused it?
