vb to vb.net

Do i have to upgrade to Vb.net or is knowing Vb enough to get a job as a programmer these days?
Do i have to follow the mscd .net track cause the one on vb 6 is no longer available...also since those courses are really expensive i was thinking on doing it bymyself ...anyone can point me in the Right Direction?

It's best if you learn VB.NET and then get yourself certified. Employers would trust a certificate more than just anyone's word. :)
