Can you upgrade a laptop's video memory?

What is your laptop model? If you havge laptop which does not rely on built in graphics you may be able to buiy an upgrade from the manufacturer.

The ram is most often sitting UNDER the laptop. If you see a small thing you can open uder there, the RAM is probably there (at least on my Dell machine). If not, then you have to open the whole thing. And at least in Norway you lose the guaranty if you do it. So you should deliver it to where you bought it and make them do it. The same goes for your GPU. I don't think there is any easy way but to open the whole thing to replace it. And if it is a cheap machine chances is that it is integrated on the MB anyway, so then you can't change it at all.
