Winsock timeouts are very annoying, when making an online chess game. Why do these timouts keep happening? and how can I reconnect when they do?
Thanx

Winsock timeouts can be modified...look thru the winsock properties.
A timeout occurs when there hasn't been an action for the specified period of time. To reconnect simply;
Winsock1.Close
'Call your connecting routine.

I don't think there is a timeout property for Winsock and I also thought the a timeout occurs when an action does not complete in the specified time.
