    Have a look for Visual Basic Developer's Guide to ADO.
    I think it's on amazon.com... hang on..

    I think it's a pretty good start, but absolutely NOT a complete reference. I own it myself, and had several occasions where it helped me out. And if it didn't I've always found an answer here (http://forums.vb-world.net/forumdisplay.php?forumid=3.
