Re: Need Help With Laptop Quickly
Unplug it from the wall, remove the battery...
Put the battery back in - plug it back into the wall...
Then power it up.
Does that do anything?

Re: Need Help With Laptop Quickly
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The laptop might have gone into hibernate mode. This will cycle the power. Before you do that, close the cover and re-open it. That works with my laptop.

Re: Need Help With Laptop Quickly
Make sure you've got power.
Is the screen brightness turned up?
Do you have an emergency shutdown (not sure what it's actually called),
on my laptop (HP Pav.) it just hangs hard and I have to stick a paperclip into a small hole below the PCMCIA slots that finally kills it.
Probably equivalent to removing the batts.
