Do you think there's ample interest & need to add a forum here dedicated to "Protecting Your Computer"?
e.g. to discuss anti virus apps,
a/v sites,
h/w and s/w firewalls,
adware, spyware scanning/detection/removal tools etc
browser settings, cookies,
email security and attachment issues,
dis/advantages of various internet connections, e.g. DSL, modem, etc
file encryption,
physical locking, e.g. Kensington? locks for laptops,

Paranoidally yours, DaveBo

Maybe interesting, a lot of interest has sparked in this area all over the Interlet latly.

But, right now people ususlly use the General PC forum for this kind of thing :)

Cheers,

Just wanted to mention that in the General PC forum's FAQ (http://vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=368244) sticky thread there are several resources for antivirus programs, tips, and troubleshooting suggestions etc. ;)

I agree with the recommendations of using the general forums for now and AntiOnline. If there are a lot of discussions started there, then we can look at breaking them out into a separate area.
