    System.Web.Mail with lotus notes Domino mail server

    Is this possible? Anyone have any experience of it?

    Send email. I developed an app on a customer's site. The app sent email (using system.web.mail) through the customer's exchange server. I had the mail server name in my app.config file. Now I am on a different customer site, and they use lotus notes with a domino mail server. I hoped that all I would have to do would be to change the mail server name in the config file, but alas, it does not work. The error is "Could not access 'CDO.Message' object".

    I thought an smpt mail server was an smpt mail server, regardless of what type of server it was...
