Ummmm....
maybe it's something that can guide itself, and like know what kind of destruction it should cause.

Well after talking with a friend of mine over the subject...he said it might be "a way of turning of the computers cooling fan or disable cmos or something to do with the hardware"..hmm makes sense..but i dont know for sure.

so in that case..is there such a thing as a stupid bomb?

I would think it's the same as an error in the logic of your program, but the program compiles, so you think all is well.

The program runs, but doesn't give you the intended results, so there was a flaw in your logic although your syntax was excellent (according to the compiler).

But i remember eading some text on hacking someone over the net..or some kind of text ..but i remember it giving examples of what weapons you can use too attack someone.

Like nukes, mailbombing..then it mentioned "logic bombs"

So i guess it is some form of attack..who knows.

I knew of a time bomb.
It is a hiden feature in your program, like a routine that activates itself with a time schedule or a secret code you only know. Should your customer donīt pay you your development in time, the application ceases to function, erases itself or pops up a warning message, etc.

From http://www.whatis.com :

blue bomb

A "blue bomb" (also known as "WinNuke") is a technique for causing the Windows operating system of someone you're communicating with to crash or suddenly terminate. The "blue bomb" is actually an out-of-band network packet containing information that the operating system can't process. This condition causes the operating system to "crash" or terminate prematurely. The operating system can usually be restarted without any permanent damage other than possible loss of unsaved data when you crashed.
The blue bomb derives its name from the effect it sometimes causes on the display as the operating system is terminating - a white-on-blue error screen that is commonly known as blue screen of death.

mail bomb

A mail bomb is the sending of a massive amount of e-mail to a specific person or system. A huge amount of mail may simply fill up the recipient's disk space on the server or, in some cases, may be too much for a server to handle and may cause the server to stop functioning. In the past, mail bombs have been used to "punish" Internet users who have been egregious violators of netiquette (for example, people using e-mail for undesired advertising, or spam).

From altavista:

Oh, Iīm tired, 2100 pages found, search by yourself, lazy boy! (he, he)

Anyway here is one:

logic bomb: Code surreptitiously inserted into an application or OS that causes it to perform some destructive or security-compromising... (here altavista stopped)
