I am also new in ASP.Net and it seems that I will be new for long time more. 
For the last 4 – 5 days, I have tried to run a simple Web application, but I can’t.
First, I get message: “Visual Studio .NET has detected that the specified Web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET Web applications or services”
After I run the “aspnet_regiis.exe –i” in “C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322”, the web service turn off and I can’t turn it on again until restart (or restating whole IIS in services). And then the story begins again.
I try many things, reinstalling .Net Framework, upgrade it, put Service pack 1.1, even reinstalling whole VS.Net, but with no results!
Maybe this is because I first install VS, then IIS, and then upgrade VS with Web services?
Can anyone help?
