decompiler

I have several programs written in various versions of VB. I was wanting to find a decompiler or dissasembler that works. . . .for real. I keep downloading these decompilers that are either in another language or that just don't work, sometimes both.

Also, can someone can tell me how to open an Access database if I'm not the creator.
