you can't rate your own posts. But you can rate others. If you try to rate your own posts, it will only pop up a page saying how many points you have.
But be sure not to have vbforums.com blocked with a pop up blocker. Then the pop up page might not pop up at all.

If you click that link, then this window should pop up:
http://www.vbforums.com/reputation.php?p=2018991
What browser do you use? Are you sure you don't have a pop up blocker?

Yes I suppose I should have got that. But I don't. I move my mouse over it and find it points to the one I said in #1.
I right click and do Copy Shortcut and paste it here:
http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?p=2018510#
So this is the link it is pointing to in my browser (IE 5.0)

Yes, it does that for everyone. But if you don't have a pop up blocker, the pop up window should pop up.

Of late I find that links that should open in new Window are not working. Not sure what prevents them. I recently installed Spybot S&D. Is that to be blamed? How to correct them? Maybe some registry settings...?
The problem has started recently as I know I have rated posts earlier also and there was no problem.

Are you sure you don't have any Yahoo or other toolbars in IE? And BTW do you have JS turned on in IE?

Standard Buttons, Address Bar, Links, Radio, Norton Antivirus, Customize...
This is all I can see when I right click on the toolbars. No yahoo, MSN or any other chat app.
How to find if JS is turned on or not? I restored everything to default. So I think if it works on a new installation, it should work here also.

Sorry NoteMe,
I'v been bothering u with all this nonsense for quite a while.
I searched some old CD and found IE 5.5. Installing it corrected the problems. So I think it was a problem related to IE.
I wonder why this didn't click me before I posted this thread. :o
It's resolved now.
Thanks for all the help u did. :thumb:
I'm having 1 more problem. I'll post it in a new thread.
THis Thread is closed.
