Updating Through ODBC Help

I am trying to update a record through ODBC on a AS400. I am using a Rumba optimized ODBC. I am able to get info from from the 400 just fine but I just can't get it to go the other way around and update. I am also trying to do it using a DataEnvironment right now. Does anyone have any good advice on this OR other ways that you have connected through ODBC and updated records. Thanks for any help.

Actually I use V3R2M0 Ca400 odbc with os400 release >= V3R7M0 and it works fine, I tried also Rumba and HIT400 previously, but I encouter some trouble in some os400 releases (in absence of Ptfs or in presence of journal). There are some trick you must use for perfomance with CA, If you need more let me know.
