Converting to Icons

How can I convert a bmp file to an icon file? Is it possible with Photoshop?

Nevermind, I found a plug-in for photoshop. Works great!
Now, I'm workin' on an arcade type game. When I make my Ship(the mouse icon) fire, how can I make the weapon equal the mouseicon?

if you have the weapon as an icon then u can set the mouse cursor to the weapon icon to the form property MouseIcon (Me.MouseIcon = ....) that is if ur usin forms like that, if ur using directX then im not sure, if that doesnt solve ur problem u might want to make a new thread asking about how to do it cos otherwise people wont realise what this thread's actually about now you edited it
