AcrtiveX Control in Web Page

I developed an ActiveX Control for use on a web page. But using VBScript or JavaScript I am unable to access the properties of my control unless I change the Security Features in IE(allow scripting and other options). Can anyone tell me how to do this without changing the default Security Settings in IE.
