    Hey, I'm still searching for a Program I can start from my pendrive to check e-mails. (pop3/smtp)


    Is there no such program or why is nobody answering???

    How about just a shortcut to the email program on your desktop? Otherwise, you'd have to have a program that checked your email on the pen drive, which would confilct with the program on your desktop. You mght be able to use MailWasher or some program like that.

    Why are you suggesting he put a shortcut on his desktop? Did you read his post? He wants a program which he can run standalone off a pen drive.

    FES Germany, Yes such a program does exist. Thunderbird, can be installed on a USB disk and there is also a special USB friendly version of Thunderbird too which modifys all the necessary settings to run Thunderbird from a USB disk:

    That wasn't a shortcut on his desktop, it was a shortcut TO his desktop client.
    shortcut to the email program on your desktop
    Is that any different? The shortcut could run automatically when the pendrive was attached, which would open the email client.
