Hey, i was in the bath with my laptop and i must of got sum water on it (i dont remember doing it) but some of the letters on my keyboard are messed up;

The 'A' acts like a left arrow key
The left arrow key acts like an 'A'
The 'Q' acts like a right-click

Any1 got any suggestions to how to solve this. I cant log on to my computer either because my WinXP password contains an 'A'

Thanks

You'll need to dry the keyboard thoughrouly to have any chance of getting it working. Remove the keyboard from the laptop and leave it in a warm, dry place for a couple of dayds and then use the hair dryer on it.

It may sound bizzare but the keyboard I am using now has been victim, to tea and coke and on both occasions, a wash with soapy water and a long spell on the washing line on a hot day fixed it.

It should dry up on it's own in a few days. As long as nothing shorted out, it won't hurt to use it.

A good place to do the drying is near the furnace in your basement (it's still cold here in the NE!)...

The keyboard is most likely two silly sheets of mylar - with contacts between. It should dry out...
