    I am using the NetBeans IDE development community.

    well, java language using the netbeans program.
    i have one tutorial from Computer Shopper.

    The java.sun.com site might have some tutorials which combines it's java programming into netbeans. If your first starting out, I would recommend using a simple text editor. --> it's not very fun but it helps in the long run.
