More info is needed. How did you get the virus? what exact file did you download? What does it do exactly? i.e: How do you know its there?

Re: MSN virus
If you know the name of the file it tries to send. Then go to symantec.com and do a search for that file + MSN, and you will find out what to do about it.....

Re: MSN virus
The virus is on your PC, and not on your account. Find out what the file it tries to send to you is, and then search for it at symantec.com and it will take you 5min to take it away.

Re: MSN virus
I Googled, and found this:
http://www.happy-messaging.com/messenger/virus/
There is a msn-virus page that is listed there.
Happy Messaging!

Re: MSN virus
I had a mate who had a virus similar to this, see if this is it because you didn't give any specifics about how you received it, what it tries to do etc. Just saying you have a virus is like saying, "It's broken" when someone asks you what's wrong with your computer, or replying "not feeling well" when a doctor asks you what's wrong with you.

I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
