    Yep it's on the Microsoft Universal Data Access site

    the exact url for the MDAC 2.5 which contains ADO2.5 is at
    http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm#251info

    The above URL is for the SP1 version. The original 2.5 version can be found at
    http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm#25info

    You will see that MDAC 2.6 is now available. I have found it to be stable on Windows 9x and NT however I have not noticed any speed benefits.
