    Does anybody know if it is possible to get images off the
    image list?

    You can remove them as long as they are not in use. Is that what you mean?

    I think the function our memorable (and adorable) member; mlana wants to explore in the VB Documentation is the method called ExtractIcon.

    thank you for your responses.
    I do want to extract icon from the image list, but I want to
    extract it to a folder in Windows Explorer and have a .ico or .bmp file. I was not able to find an icon/bitmap used in the project.
