[Resolved]PC Problem
Hey guys, just had a massive spyware problem and yea kinda messed up my computer a little bit. Destroyed my ntoskrnl.exe ( The system kernal ) but I fixed that with recovery console. As well as messing up my Add/Remove Programs panel. But I couldnt fix that. I attached a screen shot of what it looks like.
Problems:
-Close button text messed up (Underline character is not being recongnized)
-Close button doesnt work at all.
The rest you can see is in the screen shot.
Hope someone can help me with this problem.

Re: PC Problem
Insert your XP disk, and tell it to repair your installation. That should be all that you need to do. Post back if it doesn't work.

Re: PC Problem
Seeing as that looks like Windows 2000, put the 2000 disc in the drive and select the second repair option. That will reinstall Windows for you over the top of itself.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

Re: PC Problem
By doing that will it mess with anything installed already? Such as .net frame work and stuff? Just wanna know before I do that.

If you've gotten this far with no luck, Just put the lime in the coconut and drink them both together.
What has that got to do with anything??

No, it shouldn't, touch that stuff. It's essentially the same as installing Windows 98 over the top of itself, however, it gives you a menu option to do it now.

Re: PC Problem
A repair should do it without removing any installed programs

Re: PC Problem
Actually I found the problem. Some how Internet Explorer 6 uninstalled itself (I dont use it anyway, I use Mozilla Firefox) but yea, when that uninstalled it took some important dll's with it, mshtml.dll to be one.
So I reinstalled it and its working perfectly fine now. Thanks again guys for your support.
