VB6 Chat Client With Voice. Server = Website Host
Just curious, has anyone used teamspeak here. Well I have a gaming clan and wanna build a chat client however I want to do it where as my site is the actual server and people just download my client and connect to my site.
Thats the brief idea I have without going into complicated detail. I'm sure this has been done before and was wondering if someone could advise me of what would be needed. The reason im asking this is because I'm fairly confident about building the client, its just building the server part thats dazzling me as the server would not be made in vb.
Client would be made in vb6
Server?? php? java?
any feedback and idea's would be welcome, thx
Edit: hit the wrong forum section, sorry but thanks for any advise, cant find the move button
