VB6 Installation {resolved}
I am having a problem installing VB 6 on my home pc. It is a pentium 4 running windows XP Home Edition.
When the installer tries to install the program i get the following error message
16-bit Windows Subsystem - IT IS THE CAPTION OF ALERT WINDOW
C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
If I click close or ignore the window disappears and then about 30 seconds later another alert window appears saying that the file acmsetup.exe cannot be found.
I have searched through various knowedge bases but cannot find this specific error.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
