Hi all.

Again, I'm having trouble with PCAnywhere. This time another strange problem.

I changed jobs (finally) last week so I installed PCAnywhere 11 at my new office, so I could access my home PC. But in this computer, whenever I log in to my home computer, I have no ability to type. It seems the keyboard does not work at all. The mouse works for point and click. Doubleclick, though, instead of opening a desktop icon, will open the properties box for the shortcut.
Then when I get home, my PC is like that at home too!! I can't type anything anywhere. And the doubleclick opens a properties box. I can't even log off the user and log back on because it won't let me type the password! I can't find any suspicious processes running (XP) that I could kill. I kill EXPLORER and run a new one, but it does nothing. Finally I have to reboot.

This happened 2 days in a row. So I uninstalled 11 on both machines today and installed 11.5 on both machines. I logged in once from my office. On the first click of a desktop icon, the app opened. But I couldn't type. Then I doubleclicked another icon and got the properties box.

So that's how far I am. I saw an article from Google search where the person said the drivers had broken down. But what do they know!!! So I came here, to my favorite information source. Does anybody know about this problem? Solutions?

By the way, I've officially been coming to this website for 5 years this week!! Don't know how many times I've been help by all the knowledgeable people here (or how many times I may have confused some poor info seeker).

Thanks all.
Wengang
