Hi,

I'm using visual studio 2003 and pocket pc 2003 pro on my PDA.i chosed the "smart application device"template in order to create a application on my PDA.However,i realise that my VB does not detect my PDA even though it is connected to my desktop through a USB port.It says"Cannot establish a connection.Be sure the device is physically connected to the development computer."

Can anyone pls help me out here?pls?
I'm already at my wits' end.

Sometimes this can happen with some devices.
Have you tried deploying through windows CE device and the Pocket Pc device.

If these dont work, if you build a CAB file and copy if across to the device using activesync, when you double tap on the CAB file on the device it will install the application
