    Sorry, didn't mean any offense by it.

    I was just saying it is most likely to be the code rather than the microscopic jpg. Since he didn't post any code its the only conclusion.

    Maybe his algorithm runs fast with a small image but crawls when subject to one of twice the dimensions. This could easily happen if the number of iterations increases exponentially with certain parameters.

    Nah, if I was being verbose I would have included audio, annotated illustration and an RSS feed.
