Try... Tools > Options > Enviroment > General > Reset Windows Layout.

    Hi,

I had the same problem and RobDog888 gave me his solution which worked OK for me.

There are several steps/choices to be made so try it again and make sure that you read each option carefully.

See if you get the same problem in another solution.

    Re: visual studio toolbox help!!

If the reset doesnt work even after rebooting and restarting VB then you could always re-create the tab manually.

    To create it manually:
Right click the toolbox and click Add Tab. Name it HTML. Then add the default html controls to that tab.

Match up the icon images in my picture with the icon images in the Add/Remove dialog box under
    the System.Web.UI.WebControls namespace.

    The default HTML controls are:

    Pointer
    Label
    Button
    Reset Button
    Submit Button
    Text Field
    Text Area
    File Field
    Password Field
    Checkbox
    Radio Button
    Hidden
    Table
    Flow Layout Panel
    Grid Layout Panel
    Image
    Listbox
    Dropdown
    Horizontal Rule
